The National Monuments Service's description
In improved, slightly undulating pasture, on a W-facing slope. A sub-ciruclar area (dims. 19m N-S; 17.5m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 4.35m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) and outer fosse (Wth 4.95; D 0.12m) both traceable in the NW quadrant. The bank is reduced to scarp (Wth 4.5m; H 0.8m) from SE-S and from NW-NE (Wth 2.15m; H 1m). The scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.65m) has been straightened (L 14m) where it forms the E side of the monument. There is an entrance at the NNE where there is a gradual ramp up into the interior. A field boundary runs N-S c. 4m to the E, this area is used as farm driving line. Within the interior are the remains of four broad cultivation furrows (long axis NNE-SSW; Wth 1.5m; H 0.1m).
