The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight NW-facing slope on the NW side of a small gently sloping hillock, in undulating pasture. The standing stone (TS058-023004-) at Longstone Hill is visible 800m to the SW. A fine-grained sandstone standing stone (W0.38m x 0.33m; H 1.15m), rectangular in plan. It is solidly set with no packing stones visible. The upper portion of the stone tapers to a point. The surface of the stone is weathered.
