On a slight NW-facing slope, on the floor of a wide gently sloping NE-SW orientated valley, in low-lying wet pasture. Two ring-barrows (TS058-070001- and TS058-070002-) are located 18m to the SW and the standing stone (TS058-023004-) at Longstone is visible 1.5km to the NNE with a mound-barrow (TS058-047----) visible 750m to the SE. A circular hollow area (diam. 54m) defined by a substantial flat-topped earthen bank (overall Wth 20-21m; Wth at top 4m; int. H 1.1-2.9m; ext. H 0.7m). The bank has a very uniform profile with a flat top and the inner slope (Wth 10m) being consistently broader than the outer slope (Wth 6m). There is no entrance, however, there is a dip in the bank (Wth 3m; D 0.3m) in the NW and S quadrants where there bank has been denuded by cattle. The interior is level and waterlogged. The interior is level and waterlogged. A embanked enclosure (TS050-024----) is located 10km to the NE, it has a similar morphology but appears to have an original entrance.
