The National Monuments Service's description
In level wet pasture with a ditch-barrow (TS058-043001-) located 70m to the NE and another (TS058-043002-) 90m to the NNE. Circular raised area (diam. 28m) defined by a narrow flat-topped earthen bank (overall Wth 3.4m; Wth at top 1.6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m). At the external base of the bank is a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth at base 3.2m; D 0.3m) and a low irregular external earthen bank (overall Wth 1.8m; Wth at top 1.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.1m). The internal bank is broken through by livestock at SW, WNW, NW and NNE. From S-SW the fosse has been almost completely infilled. The external bank is not visible at ground level S-SW where a NW-SE orientated field bbank skirts the line of the absent external bank at SSW. A break (Wth 2m) in the internal bank at E marks the position of the original entrance. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth with well spaced thorn bushes along the internal bank.
