The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight rise of ground with good views in all directions. The church is not visible at ground level in the graveyard (TS058-034001-), but two architectural fragments from a medieval building, possibly the church, are situated in the N quadrant. One of these is a chamfered, punch-dressed jambstone of a 15th/16th-century window possibly belonging to the medieval church. The other limestone fragment is of medieval date, but it is unclear what this fragment originally belonged to. In the Civil Survey of 1654-6 the lands of Solloghodmore contained the 'ruines of an old mill & a church” (Simington 1934, vol. 2, 53). According to the OS letters the Roman Catholic church, to N of the graveyard, was built on the site of the medieval church (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 1, 8).
