In level wet improved pasture. Circular area (diam. 25.5m) defined by a low earthen scarp (Wth 2.1m; H 0.35m). At the external base of the scarped edge is the first fosse (Wth at base 3.7m; D 0.3m), the first earthen bank (Wth at top 2m; overall Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.4m), a second fosse (Wth at base 1.8m; D 0.8m) and a second outer earthen bank (Wth at top 1.6m; overall Wth 4.3m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.1m). The first fosse and bank low in profile difficult to trace at ground level NW-NE. There is a modern break (Wth 8m) in the first bank at E. The second outer bank is very low and difficult to trace at ground level N-E. There is a modern break (Wth 2m) in the first bank at ESE. There are two possible entrance features, either of which may be original. The first is at E where there is a break (Wth 4m) in the first bank with a corresponding break (Wth 6m) in the second outer bank. The second is at WSW where there is a break (Wth 3m) in the first bank with a corresponding break (Wth 4m) in the second outer bank. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth with bushes and briars along the tops of the banks S-NE.
