The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland on an E-facing slope of low rise of ground with good views in all directions. Ringforts (TS055-009----) (TS055-011----) 250m and 300m to SSW and SE respectively. Ringfort consists of a slightly raised circular area (int. diam. 37m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.9m; base Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.8-0.4m; ext. H 0.9m) with large deep (D 1-3m; 35m N-S x 13m E-W) quarry located in E half of ringfort interior destroying all remains of enclosing bank from E to S. Quarry depicted on latest ed. OS 6-inch map but not on 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. No outer fosse or entrance feature visible. Two gaps in bank at W both of which measure 3m in width and appear to be cattle gaps. Quarry appears to date from between 1840 and 1912.
