The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland on an E-facing slope of rising ground in upland river valley with good views to E with higher ground to W. Circular area (int. diam. 32m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 1.8m; base Wth 4m; int. H 0.3-0.8m; ext. H 1-3m) and external fosse (base Wth 3m; top Wth 6m; ext. D 1-1.5m) with possible widened entrance gap (Wth 9m) at E. Interior of ringfort follows natural slope of land from W to E. Damage caused by badger burrowing to inner bank at W on the uplsope, otherwise well preserved. The external height of the inner bank is at its highest on the uplsope where the enclosing fosse is widest and deepest from W to N and is not as well preserved from S to E, no visible trace of outer fosse on E side of ringfort. Classic univallate ringfort.
