The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland, on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in upland region with good views in all directions. Nearby mound possible (TS054-025----) 250m to the W. Land has been reclaimed and field boundaries have been removed. On the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map land is shown as wet poorly drained marshy land in upland region. No visible surface remains, enclosure was probably levelled when field boundaries were removed and field reclaimed.
