The National Monuments Service's description

On an island of dry land surrounded by bog with good views in all directions. A bullaun stone is located in the interior of the chancel of the medieval church (TS054-002002-). The bullaun stone consists of a triangular-shaped stone (dims. 0.42m x 0.38m x 0.18m) with one central basin (diam. 0.16m; D 0.08m). This stone may originally have been located 100m E of the church (OPW files 1980).
