The National Monuments Service's description
In relatively flat terrain, on the highest point in the locality, under pasture. There are extensive views in every direction and a prostrate standing stone (TS053-016002-) lies 50m to the SE. Circular, fairly steep-sided mound (diam. 15m; H 2.28-2.36m) with a lot of stones/small boulders protruding from the surface. Shallowest profile on the S side. Dip at the base of the mound but no fosse. Later ditch has been cut at the base of the mound in the S and E quadrants.
