The National Monuments Service's description
In flat poorly drained land with the River Suir flowing 40m to the N. There is a possible ringfort (TS052-007----) c. 60m to the SSE and a moated site (TS052-006----) 280m to the SW. There are good views in all directions. Identified on satellite imagery (OS Ortho, viewed 23 November 2011) as a roughly oval enclosure (dims. c. 30m N-S, c. 27m E-W) defined by a denuded earthen bank.
