The National Monuments Service's description
On an E-facing slope of rising ground in grassland with good views in all directions, overlooking the River Suir to N and E. No surface remains visible of any dwelling in area marked on six inch OS 6-inch map. Marked as 'Site of Old Ho.' on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. Possibly a 17th-century house if it was already considered old by 1840.
