The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a natural rise of ground in the centre of Toem village, with good views in all directions. A 19th-century C of I tower is all that remains in the centre of a rectangular graveyard (int. dims. 33m N-S; 46m E-W) which is enclosed by a rubble limestone wall. 18th and 19th-century headstones are the earliest visible in the graveyard. According to the OS Letters the C of I church was constructed in 1805, possibly on the site of the earlier church (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 1, 99).
