The National Monuments Service's description

On top of high ground with good extensive views in undulating countryside with a ringfort (TS050-003---) c. 200m to the N. A poorly preserved ringfort consisting of a circular area (diam. 39.7m N-S; 38.9m E-W) enclosed by a much degraded earth and stone bank (Wth 1.2m ; ext. H 0.3m; int. H 0.2m) which has been reduced to a scarp in places. An outer bank visible from SE through S to W is probably a later field bank enclosing the ringfort on this side only. A field boundary, which intersected the monument from E to N on a NW-SE axis as depicted on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map, has been removed. A depression in the interior may represent disturbance associated with a trigonometric station which is depicted on the 2nd ed. OS 6-inch map.
