The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated burials within townland. Reference in the National Museum files to a crouched burial found in this townland at a depth of three and a half feet (NMI Reg. 1A/107/54). This reference appears to relate to two skulls and a number of bones found during quarrying operations in 1942 (NMI correspondence). These burials may relate to other burials found in Knockboy townland (TS049-061----), though without locational information this cannot be confirmed.
