The National Monuments Service's description
On slight rise of ground in marshy undulating pasture with good views in all directions, nearby river to W and enclosure (TS049-006----) 300m to N. Monument consists of a low elevated platform bisected by a field boundary on a NE-SW axis. Low circular platform (diam. 26m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE; H 0.7m) defined by a scarp and shallow outer fosse (Wth 1m; ext. D 0.2m) visible only NW through N to NE only. No other features visible. Local farmer says that the enclosure was known locally as a burial mound, field in which the N half of monument is located has never been reclaimed, while the field to the S has been reclaimed resulting in the levelling of the monument on this side. Only the N half of the enclosure is depicted on the OS 6-inch map but traces of the monument are also visible on its southern side. Described in 1956 (OPW file) as a circular platform (diam. 108 ft [35m] N-S) defined by a scarp (H 2ft [0.7m]) and outer fosse ( Wth 12 ft [4m]). No entrance feature visible.
