The National Monuments Service's description
On flat reclaimed pasture in upland area with good views in all directions. Enclosure consists of a low elevated platform (diam. 24m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.5m) and outer fosse (Top Wth 4.5m; base Wth 2.7m; ext. D 0.3m) with 19th century landscaped tree-lined feature attached to N of enclosure. No entrance feature visible.
