The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying terrain, on the flood plain of the River Suir which is located c. 20m to the NW. In a reclaimed field under pasture. An aerial photograph (GB89.AB.26) shows the cropmark of an incomplete curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse. An enclosure (TS046-045----) is located c. 200m to the NE. This roughly D-shaped enclosure (dims. 30m N-S; 40m E-W) is defined by a natural ridge (H 0.55m; Wth 10m) running NE-SW along the straight NW side and elsewhere by a low wide bank (W quadrant int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m; Wth 8m; SE quadrant int. H 0.12m; ext. H 0.55m; Wth at crest 3.2m; overall Wth 14m) which appears to have been levelled. The bank is quite subtle and difficult to see in places. There is a possible entrance (Wth 4m) in the S quadrant.
