The National Monuments Service's description
On a poorly drained S-facing slope, on the foothills of Gortnageragh Mountain with good views of Cahernahallia river valley from E-S-W. An oval enclosure (dims. c. 19m NE-SW; c. 15m NW-SE) visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth satellite imagery, 20 January 2020), identified and reported by Jean-Charles Caillère. It is located c. 130m S of Glengar House. On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map there are a number of landscape features associated with the house, including tree-rings in the grounds. One of these is indicated one on or close to the location of this enclosure, and there is a possibility that this enclosure was constructed as a tree-ring. A moated site (TS004-006----) is located 230m to the NW.
