The National Monuments Service's description
Just off the summit of a low hillock in undulating pasture with good views in all directions. A poorly preserved ringfort the interior of which has suffered from cattle erosion while the parameter of the monument is overgrown with vegetation and trees. The ringfort consists of a circular platform (diam. 36m NW-SE; overall diam. c. 60m NW-SE) enclosed by an earth and stone bank mainly reduced to a scarp (ext. H 1m) fosse (base Wth 2.3m; top Wth 4.2m; ext. D 1.5m) and outer bank (top Wth 2m; base Wth 4m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.7m). Gaps in the bank at the SW are probably the result of cattle poaching, while a gap (Wth 5m) in the bank at the SE may be an original entrance feature which has been widened for cattle access.
