The National Monuments Service's description

On S face of low NE-SW ridge in undulating pastures with good views in all directions. A possible ringfort (TS043-020----) is located 600m to the NW. The barely discernible outline of a levelled enclosure (approx. diam. E-W 45.6m; N-S 41m) is visible in a field which has been recently ploughed and re-seeded with grass. The field boundary depicted on the 2nd (1903) ed. OS 6-inch map, which intersects the enclosure at N and runs NE-SW, has been removed. An aerial photograph (GSI S.457/6), taken in 1973, depicts an upstanding field boundary and an enclosure, both of which were largely levelled between 1973 and 2002. The original enclosing bank of the monument is still preserved from W to NW (chord dims. 25m) in the surviving field boundary, which enclosed the W quadrant of the enclosure, elsewhere the bank has been totally levelled.
