In Baunmore bog, undergoing milling. This togher consists of a single plank trackway oriented NE–SW and traced for a length of 690m across the SE extent of Baunmore Bog. The togher, sighted forty-six times, is composed of longitudinal (L 0.52- 4.2m; Wth 0.13-0.8m; T 0.02-0.3m) and transverse planks (L 0.6-2.12m; Wth 0.1-0.25m; T 0.04m) and roundwoods (L 0.3-2.25m; diam. 0.05-0.35m) which rested on a substructure of roundwood and associated brushwood elements. A total of 42 pegs (diam. 0.02-0.14m) were noted associated with the togher. The peat was moderate to well-humified with inclusions of sphagnum, calluna and eriophorum. The togher continues across the county boundary into Islands townland in Co. Kilkenny (KK012-081----).
