The National Monuments Service's description
Original location is unknown. The armorial plaque is currently located at Kenilworth House, Greenmount townland, and is listed as SMR TS088-075----. It is currently positioned in the apex of a carriage arch to the yard of Kenilworth House which was built c. 1800. The heraldic shield in the centre of the plaque bears the coat of arms of the Butlers of Dunboyne. It is dated 1644 and bears the initials TB and KB. A latin inscription at the base of the plaque reads: IGNEM SUI AMORIS ACCENDA DEUS IN CORDIBUS NOSTRIS AMEN which translates as: Let God kindle the fire of his love in our hearts Amen. This prayer is associated with Pentecost. The top of the plaque has a carved ogee within which there is an HIS inscription. The apex of the ogee terminates with a rolled scroll on either side.
