The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a gentle S-facing slope in very undulating terrain with a nearby ringfort site (TN047-075) to the N. Marked as a circular enclosure on the 1st (1843) and 1952-3 ed. OS 6-inch map. The site, which is transected by a hedgerow running N-S, has been levelled but is barely visible as the faint low outline of a bank (ext. H 0.24m) forming the W half of the site (c. 27.5m N-S; 16.8m E-W). No visible trace of the site E of the hedgerow.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
