The National Monuments Service's description
Within the graveyard (TN042-052006) there is a late thirteenth/early fourteenth-century graveslab. The worn head, 0.21m x 0.15m, projects by 0.045m above a four-armed fleur-de-lys cross carved in relief, the shaft and base of which, if still in one piece, are buried. The head of the slab is pointed while the remainder is coffin-shaped. The slab ( 0.17m T, Wth 0.5m) is visible above ground to a height of 0.88m, though it tapers as it descends. Hunt detected a very worn inscription on the sinister side, possibly in Black Letter - it may have been added later (Hunt 1974, vol. 1, 231-2).
