The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a very gentle E-facing slope in fairly level pastureland. A roughly semicircular field boundary may be the remains of the W and S sectors of a large roughly circular enclosure (diam. 33m NE-SW; 76m NW-SE). Nothing survives above ground at N and E. The field boundary consists of scrub/hedgerow surmounting an earthen bank (Wth 1.2m; 0.7m H). A curving field boundary is marked on the 1st (1843) and 1952-3 ed. OS 6-inch maps and on an aerial photograph in the Ordnance Survey collection 0368.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
