The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on flat terrain in grassland which was used as a football ground. There are some recent back-filled trenches in the field which may be associated with drainage. Marked on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure but not indicated on the 1952-3 ed. Not visible at ground level.
