The National Monuments Service's description
Listed in the SMR (1992) as a dwelling and in the RMP (1998) as a dwelling possible site. According to OS Namebooks there were 'the ruins of an old manor house [Roskeen House]' (O'Donovan, J. et al c.1840). Roskeen house appears to be nineteenth-century in date with ruins of a house/building to S of the present house which has original brick window surrounds. According to landowner this ruined house is later than the present house and was never completed.
