The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the W-facing slope of a low glacial ridge on partially reclaimed bog. The site was identified during field walking in a ploughed field and consisted of a spread (dims. 6m N-S x 10.7m E-W; 0.2m D) of fire-cracked sandstone and charcoal which was not excavated because it was in an area which was not going to be developed. (Stevens 1999, Killoran 28, 199)
