The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on an E-facing slope with a ringwork (TN035-030001) to the W and a tower house (TN035-030005) to the E in undulating countryside. Listed in the ecclesiastical taxation of the Diocese of Cashel in 1302 (CDI, vol. 5, 283). The ivy covered remains of a nave and chancel church (TN035-030002) with a barrel-vaulted tower built onto the E end of the chancel. There areseven late medieval graveslabs lying prostrate on the floor of the chancel (TN035-03008-014). Alongside these there is an open stone sarcophagus (TN035-030016) near the east gable of the chancel to the north of the doorway into the barrel vaulted east tower. The graveslabs and the sarcophagus are arranged in two rows of four across the width of the chancel.
This tapering limestone graveslab (top Wth. 0.79m; base Wth. 0.65m; L 1.9m; T 0.18m) with chamfered edge is located in the SE angle of the nave near the chancel arch. The surface of the slab has been worn away removing all traces of any inscription or carvings. This slab is located in 1.3m in from the west face of the chancel arch and 1.8m in from the inner face of the south wall of the nave.
