The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a valley floor, in wet, marshy terrain, at the base of a steep hill which rises immediately to the SE. A much denuded mound (dims. 9m x 4.5m; H 0.15m-0.35m) with very dark soil, friable stone and small lumps of charcoal. The site has been badly poached by cattle.
