The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a NE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with a river ravine immediately to SE and possible ringfort site (TN034-060) also to SE. A square-shaped area (dims. 23m NE-SW; 26m NW-SE) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with intervening, wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 5m) and entrance gap (Wth 7m) at ENE. The fosse and outer bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 1.5m) are visible from SE through S to SW where the bank survives as a field boundary. The inner bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.5-1.2m) is destroyed at SW.
