The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on top of high ground in an upland area with extensive views and nearby ringfort (TN034-051) to the S. A circular area (diam. 31m N-S; 29.5m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.7m) and wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4-5m; D 1m) waterlogged at time of visit. No entrance feature visible. The ringfort has been recently landscaped. Topsoil has been stripped off the external face of the bank and it has been planted with shrubs. The interior has been paved and a statue of Our Lady has been erected in the centre of the site.
