The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a SW-facing slope in pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map but not marked on the latest ed. (1904). Though levelled, the site is visible as a low circular rise (diam. 29.7m N-S; 31m E-W; H 1m), sloping slightly to the W. The edges slope very gradually to the exterior. An old line of field fence extends NW-SE along the outside edge of the SW quadrant. An external dip in the NW sector indicates a possible fosse. There are no visible remains of the house marked at this location on the latest ed. OS 6-inch map.
