This bridge crosses the Nenagh River which flows NW-SE immediately S of Ballynaclogh village with a church and graveyard (TN027-003002-), seventeenth-century house (TN027-003004-) and castle site (TN027-003001-) to the NE and NW respectively. A humpback bridge (L 28m; Wth 4.6m) with four round-headed arches and three cutwaters upstream to the NW supporting three V-plan refuges (Wth 1.5m; D 0.7m). The parapet on the SE side is 1.25m H. The bridge is of two-phase construction. The original arch was 3.25m wide and this was broadened on the SE side by a further 2.2m. The most westerly span is 3.2m wide. The voussoirs upstream to the NW consist of roughly cut long limestone blocks set on edge unlike those on the downstream side which are shorter cut blocks. No visible evidence of wicker-centring under the arches.
