The National Monuments Service's description

Described in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as 'one old stumpe of a castle in Clonemore irrepayreablely demolished' (Simington 1931, vol.1, 4), another reference to 'the ruines of a large stone house' in 'the Parcell [of land] called Clonemore' (ibid. 21) may refer to the same building. This castle/house is unlocated within the townland. It has been given the sub-class possible as the castle may refer to a large house.
