The National Monuments Service's description

The small burnt mound has been excavated revealing a cluster of five or six connected
'troughs'. Three of the 'troughs' are connected with possible sluices (one with a stone that might have acted as a gate) and the others are connected by shallow lips on the
downslope sides. Also continuation of the foundation of part of the Greenhills garden
wall.
