The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the gentle NE-facing slope of a ridge in tillage. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map with only the E portion indicated on the subsequent 1954-5 revision. A circular site (diam. c. 36m) levelled except for the overgrown bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.58m; ext. H 0.4) at E, which has internal stone-facing. The remainder of the site is visible as a very subtle bank. Field clearance material, earth and wood, is dumped adjacent to the bank at E. No visible fosse or entrance feature.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
