The National Monuments Service's description
One of two fulacht fia uncovered during excavation by Donald Murphy in the year 2000. The second fulacht consisted of a rectangular spread of burnt material measuring 41m x 21.5m . A total of 30 small pits were uncovered beneath the spread, although no trough was identified (Bennett 2002, 326).
