The National Monuments Service's description

This linear burnt stone spread (dims. c.10m N-S; c.40m E-W), was discovered during fieldwalking of the ploughed route of the N52 Nenagh Bypass link road (Hughes and O'Brien 1999). The spread runs parallel with the present field boundary to the NE and also appears to lie within the line of an older, levelled, field boundary (ibid.). Associated finds include a sherd of medieval pottery and a fragment of modern pottery (ibid.).
