The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on flat pasture in level terrain. A square raised platform (dims. 30m N-S x 30m E-W) enclosed by earth-covered wall-footings (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) best visible at NW and a wide external fosse (Wth 4.5m; D 0.8m) with traces of a possible outer bank now utilised as a field fence. Possible causewayed entrance at SSE. Evidence of low wall-footings in SE sector of platform.
