The National Monuments Service's description

On a natural terrace downslope from the ringfort TN017-031 on the southern side of
the site is a second ringfort / enclosure. The enclosure is slightly oval 35m N-S x 40m
E-W and the ditch is at least 3m wide. A causeway entrance is visible on the southern
side. Internally there are many features but most of these are currently assumed to be
earlier cremations. However, a much disturbed series of set stones on the NE side may be the remains of corn dryers surrounded by a posthole building. The enclosure is
very noticeably flat on the interior and could be a separate stock / animal corral
associated with the TN017-031 ringfort. However, the size of the enclosure ditch is
rather large for a simple animal enclosure and it is likely that ringfort is a combination
settlement - animal pen.
