The National Monuments Service's description
The site has been stripped and excavation has started. The remains consist of four
burnt mounds (three found in testing and a new one). A Burnt Mound (BM) identified
in testing has since turned out to be natural, blackened soils.
• BM1: The central burnt mound consists of a deposit c.15m in diameter x
0.40m high. Remains of a central trough and a few nearby pits.
