The National Monuments Service's description
This site consists of two areas. The western is a rock outcrop that appears to have
been used for burning. However, the discolouration may be natural weathering and no
significant archaeological remains are apparent. The eastern area has a small charcoal kiln or bowl furnace, possibly with associated stakeholes forming an oven-like
structure.
