The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on ground sloping to the N in undulating pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 46.7m N-S) enclosed by a stone wall (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.5m). The limestone wall consists of drystone facing with an inner rubble core. An earth and stone bank forms the foundation of the wall. The wall has been levelled at N and the E side is densely overgrown with scrub.
