The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in low-lying terrain. A late seventeenth/early eighteenth-century two-storey, five-bay house (6.25m x 14.85m; walls 0.6-0.65m T) with slightly irregular fenestration. The doorway has a plain-moulded architrave with a flat, moulded hood. In the mid-eighteenth century single bay wings were added to both gable ends of the house. Each wing has two Venetian windows surmounted by a now blocked-up lunette or Diocletian window and pediment. An unverified tradition claims that a chaplain in William III's army built the house (de Breffny and ffolliott 1975, 114).
