Situated in a wood on a S-facing slope with the ground falling away sharply to the E. A roughly circular area (diam. 29.7m N-S; 30.65m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (W 2.7m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.68m) and a deep, U-shaped fosse (Wth 2.8m; D 0.6m). The fosse appears to have been redug to aid drainage - there are a number of drainage ditches to the N and S of the site. A large hole has been quarried into the bank at S. Possible causewayed entrance (Wth 9.8m) at SE.
