The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland, in a low-lying field with a stream running parallel to the NE side. A square area (42m NW-SE; 42m NE-SW) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.94m; ext. H 2.24m) and wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.8m; D 1.82m) with counterscarp bank (Wth 4.3m; H 0.58m). The counterscarp bank on the NW side is incorporated into a disused trackway. A leat in the E corner leads to the former bed of the stream, now moved further NE.
