The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a natural rise of ground in undulating countryside. A heavily overgrown ringfort consisting of a circular area (diam. 35m approx.) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; ext. H 1.5m) and external fosse with a blocked up entrance gap at E and a modern gap at N. Dense cover of vegetation made detailed examination of the site impossible. According to the landowner the site is known locally as the 'fort'.
